Thank you
for your interest in the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Booker
Tea Reading Group. Founded in 1997, we meet monthly
to discuss award-winning and notable world literature. The
Washington chapter is also responsible for the annual development
of the
main reading list followed by members in Washington D.C.
and in Berlin, Germany.
Generally, the Washington chapter meets the 3rd Sunday
of each month from 1 to 3 p.m. in neighborhoods throughout
the metropolitan area. Members host in metro-accessible, pet-
and smoke-free homes and apartments on a strictly voluntary
basis. Being able to host a group discussion is not a requirement
to participation and membership in our group.
The date and time are always posted on the home
page. Guests are to bring a vegetarian dish, salad or
dessert to share in a potluck brunch.
To protect the privacy of our members, address
information for the meetings is not posted on this website.
