What We’re Reading

The 2011-2012 list is now available below. Thank you for your patience as the information was posted to this website.

Many thanks to the volunteers in both Berlin and Washington, D.C. who either contributed one of the 70+ titles for consideration, participated in the selection committee, or both.

To learn more about any of the books, simply click on the relevant link.  If you are not purchasing the book at your local independent bookstore or getting it at your local library, place your orders online with our Amazon.com and Amazon.de shops.  A percentage of the purchase prices comes right back and supports the maintenance and development costs of this site.
